Well, another week gone. I have finished my film course this week and am sad I will not be hanging out with my new friends. But...am glad that I will finally be able to show what we've been working on. Can't wait. Watch this space.
I have started my NVQ in childcare. Love studying and am thorughly enjoying it. Applying for the PGCE is tough. Getting the personal statement right is the hardest thing ever. Trying to sell yourself is something I find very difficult. Fingers crossed 'ey.
Have a solid week at work, which is great. Really enjoying it at the moment. And then hopefully another fun filled weekend. An upcoming gig with the mother and then bonfire night. Should be good.
This weekend was lovely. Home again. Met up with my friends from my course, went to an exhibition at the Bloomberg Space near Moorgate and then for dinner and drinks. Was a funny evening. Lots of food, alcohol and laughing. Have some posts on that later. You know the usual stuff what we got up to and what I wore. Am now about to sit down for yet another sunday roast. Mmmmmm yummy.
Again I hope your weekends have been wonderful...

Well you've seen what I wore, now here is what we got up to. Lots of drinking, banter and generally a really, really good time. Love hanging out with my girl friends. Went to a bar, Black Sheep. Took forever for us to get drinks. So busy and it did not help that one of the bar staff was utterly useless. Enjoy...

Such a busy week. My course is coming to an end. Which is sad as I've met some really lovely people. From next week on I will be posting about my 8 week film course I enrolled on and what I got up to.
I have been doing more shifts at my nursery and have signed up on an open study course to do a NVQ level 3 in early years practice. Just so I can get a bit more money but also have a qualification behind me. On top of this, I have begun (after much thought and deliberation) to apply for an Early Years PGCE. Took a long time to reach this descision as I strongly believe you should only go into teaching if your are truly passionate about it...and I am. It feels so nice to be finaly working towards a goal again. Am really trying to get my future sorted and feel much more settled for it.
Most of today was spent hanging out with my mum. Was lovely. Being in Worthing and working down south I don't get to see my friends and family much. So I try make the most of my time at home. Such as last night antics for Laura's birthday and a family Sunday lunch today. Went for a lovely walk in the park with the dog, unfortunetly as I was snapping away I didn't realise that my SD wasn't in my camera. Boo!!!!! Shame. Got some good pics too.
Hope you have all had a good week.
...what I wore...
So last night I went out for my best friends birthday. Such a funny night. A chance for me to dress up and wear something fancy. My mum helped me out with my hair and what to wear. I took lots of photos and will post them tomorrow. But here for your eyes only is what I wore...

Again here are my weekly illustrations of what I wore this week. Am loving getting back into my drawing. Going to start not just doing fashion illustrations but a whole variety of subjects. One of my favourite types of drawing is life drawing. Found it so relaxing. The perfect escape for two hours.

Friday was such a lovely day. Was home for a couple of days for my course, which meant I could squeeze in some much needed friend time. We decided to head into Borough Market. The food there is just amazing. So much to look at and the smells are mouth watering. Of course I had my trusty camera with me and was snapping away, much to the amusement of my friend. Literally stopping every few seconds to take a picture. I put it away after a while once I got the images I wanted. Found I was missing out on loads of good stuff.
Was just so nice to hanging out for an hour, catching up on things. Being down south now, I do miss my friends much more than when I was at uni. Mostly because being at uni, you knew you were going to coming back home at some point. But this time round, I'm trying to create a life down here. Scary and excting all at the same time. Next week, will hopefully be the beginning of these changes.

After my trip into town with Laura (old job friend), I had a little 'me time'. I got myself this delicious looking eclair and victorian lemonade from Borough Market. It was perfect and I felt I had to document it. This is, after all, almost like a public diary of my day-to-day life. Plus a pretty picture is always fun to take...

...what I wore...
Today I went and met my friend from my old job, in Borough Market for lunch (post on that later). The weather was a micture of chilly and muggy. So dressing was kind of hard. I dressed as if it would rain and get colder as the day went on. It seemed to work, as it rained on my way home.
Again, to keep my creative juices flowing, I choose to take instagram outfit pics. Mixing my outfit posts up with illustrations, instagrams and standard photos, makes me feel more inspired when I post. I was beginning to get in a rut with my blog. Am looking to change it up a little. Your thoughts on this would be lovely.
Later today I've got my course. Very excited as we are editing this week. If you follow me on twitter you will have noticed that I was shooting last Thursday. More to come later.
